Our journey started from Mysore, through the Bandipur Tiger Reserve, our 1st halt was at my friend’s place in Nilambur. Nilambur is located in the Malappuram district in Kerala. It is located close to the Nilgiris range of the Western Ghats on the banks of the Chaliyar River. Known for its Teak wood and breathtaking natural vistas. Then we proceeded through the Western ghats or the Nilgiri Mountains to Reach our final destination Alleppey. Officially called Alappuzha, Alleppey is a city in the South Indian state of Kerala. It is known for its wide network of interlinking, palm-fringed canals called backwaters and for its mesmerizing golden sand beaches.
